Frequently Asked Questions

  • MY COMPUTER DOES NOT SHOW UP UNDER THE SWOOSH SERVER LIST?

    • Did you launch the Swoosh desktop application?  You must launch the desktop application in order for your computer to show up in the Swoosh server list on your smartphone or tablet.

  • DOES SWOOSH HAVE BLUETOOTH?

    • Yes, Swoosh does have Bluetooth connectivity. Follow the simple steps below:

      • 1) Make sure both your device and computer's Bluetooth are turned on

      • 2) Make sure to pair both your device and your computer together

      • 3) Open both the Swoosh computer app & mobile app.  You will see your computer listed in the devices to connect to, then your off and swooshing!

  • WILL SWOOSH WORK ON A 'GUEST' WIFI NETWORK?

    • Currently, Swoosh does not work with 'guest' networks due to security protocols.  This is temporary as we are working to change this.

  • I CONNECTED TO THE SAME WIFI NETWORK, BUT IT SAYS "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO SWOOSH SERVER, TRYING TO RECONNECT..."

    • When first launching Swoosh on the desktop, a window will pop up saying 'allow' or 'deny' Swoosh access.  Be sure to choose 'allow'.

    • If you did not, you can change the permission via the following steps:

  • I CAN SEE YELLOW BUBBLES, BUT NOT BLUE ONES?

    • Make sure that the phone is in landscape mode and you are Swooshing at least 12" (30cm) above the phones screen.  When you see yellow and blue bubbles, that means you completed a swoosh and the slide will change.

  • I CAN SEE BUBBLES WHEN I SWOOSH, BUT MY PRESENTATION DOES NOT MOVE?

    •  When using Swoosh, you must make sure to 'launch' or 'play' your presentation.  Swoosh, will not work in 'edit' mode.
